Google Wave

A friend of mine sent me an invite to the Google Wave Preview a few days ago, and I’ve got to say,  I’m really liking what I’m seeing.  Of course, it’s in my nature to geek out over techie developments, but I would say this was an above-average geek-out.  There may have been bouncing involved.  I can’t say for sure.

Anyway, I’ve been telling everyone I meet about it since then, and there seems to be very little public awareness about it thus far – hopefully that’s something that will change now that it’s preview has gone a bit wider.  Even the friends that I’ve invited to join me on Wave are having a hard time working out exactly what it’s for. I discovered this video on Youtube which gets across the general idea of Wave without getting bogged down in the details.  Of course, if you’re looking for something a bit more extensive, then the Developer Preview on Google’s should be pretty satisfying at just over 80 minutes running time.
